SDW Sampler

Pulling the silks I will need to work the Mary Hurst SAL had me itching to start cross stitching again. Rather than start a new project (!) I decided to pull out my SDW Band Sampler which has been hibernating since May 2013! I don't know if I will get it finished before I join the new SAL in January but I would like to give it a go :) Here is where I left off...

This is a beautiful sampler and your already half way there! I"m adding this one to my to do list. The list just keeps getting longer!

This is one of my very favorite SL samplers and yours looks just lovely. Mine is sitting in my stitching box waiting for me to decide if I will stitch her or Ann Grimshaw for my next start after the holidays.....hmmm after seeing yours I am leaning toward SDW....You are almost there Elaine, and you have finished the church band which is a HUGE accomplishment in and of itself :) Happy Stitching!

It is so nice to see your SDW. The church was a huge motif to stitch and you are now on the home stretch. I found the bottom half went a lot easier.

The number of stitches in the church could make a sampler by themselves.

You are in the home stretch, so don't put her down. I know Nicola and the other's will love to have you along for Mary. We'll keep you motivated, if you need encouragement.
