Finished!

I put the last stitches into the Hornbook Bestiary late last night!  Hooray!

I used tent and basket weave stitch over one on the 35ct linen in the kit using AVAS silks from the kit.

There was plenty of every color left over too.  I'm so happy with my finish!

Oh Margaret!
You made finishing this mammoth piece look so simple. It was almost a case of 'here's one I prepared earlier'-it seemed to work up so swiftly!...I am in awe -would love to stitch this.

Thank-you for the inspiration and congratulations on a beautiful finish.

This is a stunning piece - beautifully stitched. Think it's a wonderful thought that a pattern created from an heirloom turned into a finished piece that will certainly become an heirloom as well. What's next?
