Seventeen Sailors

I am making progress with Seventeen Sailors as I was on holiday for two weeks and stitched most days. I am really enjoying bringing this one to life.

Love those sailors! This sampler is just beautiful! I have had an urge lately to stitch a sampler with a ship in it and this one is catching my eye! Happy Stitching!

You have gotten a good amount done for the time you have had to work on her. Looks wonderful so far!

What a lovely sampler and it seems to be coming along very nicely. Quite different from the others being stitched.

Having had the privilege to see your sampler in person I can say that it is already a stunner. Looking forward to seeing more.

What I love about the sailors is that they are waving back at us.
Lovely work.

I have read that on Dutch samplers the amount of sailors on one's sampler has to do with how many relative the young girl has.
