Eliz. Cox - a little progress

I am afraid that my stitching mojo has been on its summer holiday so not much progress has been made.

I have been busy quilting though and managed to catch my finger in the needle of the sewing machine - OOCH it hurt !!!

Miss Cox is an interesting sampler to be working on and I am looking forward to the pictorial section but there are still lots of leaves to stitch first.

Beautiful stitching as always Nicola! I love watching your progress on this sampler as it has always been one that I have loved but have felt uneasy attempting...ah maybe someday :)

Beautiful Nicola! Your flowers look perfect ... I think I've watched Mary Corbet's videos enough times to finally have the courage to jump in and start attempt mine. Thank you for your continuing inspiration :)

You are amazing. You just jumped right into stem stitch, didn't you........ We are all on summer vacation, or so it seems. Fall is right around the corner, cold weather and stitching seem to go together. Summer's are too short, we need to enjoy them. Thank you for the close ups.
