Happy Dancing!!! Ann Medd is Finished!!

Finally finished Ann Medd yesterday!!  Started her about 2 years ago.. She is the project that brought me to the SL Blog.  Things went really well until I got to the last section.. Oh my heavens .. all that tent stitch.. NO WAY.... so she did not see the light of day for some time... Then Nicola and Deb told me how they finished that part over 2... Thank you so much for the suggestion! What a relief.. so out she came again...until I made a mistake somewhere and could not find it.... Back into hiding she went.
at that time never to see the light of day again as I was sooooo frustrated..Until a good friend was at my house stitching and she pulled Ann from the deep dark depths of my stitching room and said what is this... My response.. Oh that is Ann Medd, there is a mistake in it and I can't find it... of course her response was "we can find it, You must finish this!"  So we did...I ended up frogging most of the verses on the right side and restitching them..In the end I am so happy that I did!  As I now can say I have finished the Sampler of all Samplers!!  She will travel with me to a stitching retreat this coming weekend and then off to the framers. It is a Happy Day and let the Dancing continue!!!

I bow to your tenacity, even though halted at times. Your
Ann Medd is superb and an instant
heirloom. Now you join Nicola and Deb in the annals of "go to"
mentors.... You encourage us with
this grand accomplishment.

Big happy dance for you Karen!! She's a beauty and quite the feat for stitching. So glad that your friend helped you out and then you could finish her. She's just too pretty to be hiding away!!
