A Finish - EK 1653

My adaptation of EK was finally finished tonight and came in at 38" long. As I stitched each band I found so much beauty but my favourite bands were the last two and I have decided to incorporate these motifs into the design for my casket in the Cabinet of Curiosties course.

I am sorry about the photographs, I will take proper photographs in daylight when she comes back from the framers. No super fast framing this time as the framer is on holiday :o((

My plan was to continue with Ellenor Wykcs and start Ruthy Rogers but this week I have been asked to stitch the handicraft item for my W.I's group entry for a show so I will be side tracked for a few weeks.

What style alphabet letters did you use? I like the shape of them, not too fussy.

This was delightful, watching your progression. I know your sister's much be thrilled. You know three sister, means three samplers. I have finished samplers for my mother, father, brother, sister inlaw and the list goes on. I'll have many that will have to go, to make room for any of the new......
