Ann Grimshaw

My Ann Grimshaw finally met her maker late Thursday evening.  She's done!!

I'm going through a bit of separation anxiety now that she's finally done, but think the best thing would be to move quickly on.  That brings me to either Jane Atkinson or the Knox Family Sampler, though which one is a toss-up just now.

I've posted other detail shots of Ann on my blog for anyone who'd like to see more of her.

Definately Jane Atkinson. She is so much fun to stitch.

Congratulations. I know you are happy to have Ann finished. Now the fun begins again. Either one of your choices will be nice, because which ever you don't choose, you will choose another time.......

Congratulations Mary! ... your 'Ann' is absolutely gorgeous! I love the fiber you used ... perfect choice! Can't wait to see what you decide as your next project.

Bravo! Absolutely beautiful! I am thrilled to see your fantastic finish. As soon as I can get some linen from my LNS, I hope to start mine! I started a small project and used over-dyed silk and I am enjoying the look. If it hadn't been for your posts I never would have tried using those threads.

She's stunning Mary! I love the blue you used for her and how it fades from dark to light. What a massive finish and well done!!

SUPERB !!! You have really stitched a very special sampler.

I can relate to your withdrawal pangs. I too get them when I have finished a sampler I have enjoyed stitching.

I haven't stitch the Knox Family one but thoroughly enjoyed Jane.
