Scarlet Letter Advent Calendar - Day 17

Day 17 - Mary Elliott

Have you done all your Christmas shopping? I find it much easier to shop for others that to decide what I would like for myself when asked.

Do you have any SL samplers on your Christmas list?

If you would like to win today's giveaway please leave a comment below. The draw for each day will take place on Boxing Day, you may enter each day.

I think I have done all my shopping. I would like to get hubby a surprise, but he is hard to buy for...

I didn`t ask for any sampler patterns this year...I am trying to get stitched what I already have...

I have a long list of samplers I'd like Santa to bring me but it always seems I end up having to buy them for myself. Lol. I'd love to be entered for the drawing for this one please. Thanks !

I have finished my shopping. I have a lot of SL samplers I would love to get but the WIPs and stash keep telling me to pay more attention to them.

My shopping is finished, but the stack of gifts to be wrapped is staring at me. I have a perpetual Wish List of samplers, SL and otherwise, that I would love to own.

I havent really done my shopping yet. There are a few SL charts that I would love to have but they will have to wait. We are painting some rooms in my house. What a chore. Thats my Christmas present.

You are so right about not being able to come up with ideas for things you want for yourself. This is a lovely sampler.

Look at that border -- love it!! Shopping is done except for a few stocking stuffers and some wine for those we will be seeing Christmas Eve. Wrapping almost done!! My SL wish list is long...I will most likely shop after the holidays and order a bit more to add to my overwhelming stash - lol.

I love this sampler, I don't know what I looking at when reading and rereading the scarlet letter catalog I don't think I have ever seen this one, guess I need to go take another look.

All of my shopping is done- with the exception of me, my family is very 21st century and wants things that are found online. Makes it easier on me. Ann Thompson and Eliza Tagg are Christmas presents for me - the surprise is that I don't know who will give them to me!

We don't really get into Christmas presents - used to just get things for the kids but now even that has been dropped... we do however get 'presents' throughout the year when something strikes our fancy.
As to which SL letter samplers remain on my wishlist : Betsy Davis, Ellenor Wykes and Rachel Jarratt.... looking forward to starting Margaret Gatis and Ann Scutt and finishing Elizabeth Harborne. Have a happy, contemplative Holiday !

My wish list for Christmas or otherwise is growing because of all the lovely samplers chosen for the Advent Calendar.

Another pretty sampler that I had never noticed before! My shopping is not done but there is still a weekend to get it done. I do always have a list of SL samplers that I want, but I have to get them all myself.

I Santa'd myself with a recent purchase of the Knox Family sampler. The list only keeps growing!

I mailed the last of the boxes just this morning. I'm VERY LATE for doing this and promise myself I will not let this happen again. I haven't waited this late to mail in many many years.

I still hoping that the "Jesus wept" sampler will be coming out again. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO want this one. I think it would make a great addition to my husband's office especially since he is a Chaplain.

Comment for Barbara G -

I have finished shopping except for food and I do not believe there will be any SL samplers under the tree this year.

Comment for Wilma - I'm in the middle of Christmas shopping, almost there. I would love to stitch Mary Bailey and Ann Thompson so yes, they are on my Christmas list!

Only 18 SL patterns on my wish list. 19 if you count this one, too! But 4 times out of 5 that I see a Scarlett Letter Year update the list gets longer!

This one is a stunner!! I would to stitch this one...add that to about 20 + SL samplers on my list!! Nope, haven't really shopped...I've been crocheting people stuff and I will bake too. Thankfully I celebrate on the 7th of January so I have plenty of time :D
