Welcome Isabel

We have a new member - Isabel from Vancouver, Canada. Isabel is originally from Spain and does the most beautiful Bobbin Lace work.

I have always wanted to learn this form of needlework.

Isabel will be stitching Antonia Gonzalez and is kitted up with AVAS and will start as soon as her current project is complete.

I think this will be the first Antonia to be stitched in our group. How exciting to see another sampler come to life.

Welcome to Isabel.

Marsha herself stitched Antonia earlier this year, here is a link to her finish:

I love my lace, as is part of my heritage, the fan took looooong hours, and is by a Carolina de la Guardia's design. She has a beautiful site as well.....samplers....I love too, their history, and symbolism.....and now we can enjoy the beautiful silks and linens....ahhhhhh to have more time to stitch. To Laura....si, me encanta el blog y el trabajo de todas es fenomenal....thank you to all for welcoming to your group.
