Framed and Hung

The Tableau came back from the framers today and has been hung behind Ray's reading chair.

I always prefer my work when it has been stretched and framed.

I have had a short break whilst stitching a hardanger/drawn thread/whitework project see my personal blog  but am now back with Elizabeth Simon and hope to post a progress photo soon.

Nicola, it is perfect! A lovely family treasure!
There is something "magic" that happens when our work is stretched and framed ... part of the "magic" may be that we can finally hang and enjoy our efforts, but I think after stretching the stitches also "pop" off the linen.
Congratulations again on your gorgeous Tableau!!!

Truly beautiful Nicola. I know what you mean about them being stretched and framed. Makes such a difference. I end up with a sore wrist for days when I stretch mine.

It is truly a masterpiece. May it some day hang in a museum for all to view.

The perfect spot, always watching over Ray. He is one lucky husband.

Your framed and hung Tableau looks beautiful. You do beautiful work. Your house must be a treasure trove of beautiful needlwork.

I bought Tablet just for the border and may stitch it one of these years.
