What happens at the end of the year?

I was lying in bed last night. sleepless as usual, and realized that the end of 2013 is less than 4 months away!  What will happen to our group?  Maybe Nicola's SL year plus one??? :)  It would be such a shame to see such a wonderful group of stitchers disband...

I have had the same thought recently. I have enjoyed this group so much. I have learned a lot and look forward to checking the posts each day.

I am hoping that we just continue - maybe without the stress of the giveaways for Nicola.

I am sure we all feel the same, it has brought us all together on a wonderful journey. Definitely no giveaways, but plenty of united enthusiasm!

I can't speak for Nicola but I am more than happy to keep the blog going.

It's going to take me until MY 50th Birthday to finish my Scarlet Letter Sampler so that takes us up to the end of 2016!!

I am sure that someone will be turning 50,60,70,80, possibly 90. We could also get down on our hand's and knee's and ask Nicola to continue. There would be BIG shoes to fill if someone else takes this over, but I for one would be on board to support any decision. I hope to finish my SL sampler and if I don't UGG.....

I hope that the blogs continue too!! It's brought so many of the SL pieces to life. It's one thing to look at a chart cover, but a totally different thing to see the works in progress!! It's amazing to see all these wonderful WIPs and finishes.

I too, Melinda and all, have been thinking about the end of the year and hope we continue this group. I will be 80 in 5 years and I want to see how many SL samplers I can stitch before then God willing. LOL I need all the encouragement I can get and this group and all their enthusiasm keeps me going. You are all amazing stitchers.

It certainly helped me finish some wonderful projects. AND start some new ones I maybe would have kept on the back burner ;-)

A suggestion: Nicola, I would be happy to take over the prizes and gift certificates, since many originate from TSL and it could be very efficient. I could also give blog members a discount on charts and kits.

I for one would love to see it continue as it motivates me to work on these beautiful Scarlet Letter Samplers. I am getting close to finally getting Elizabeth Sheffield finished and am working on her every day.
