Progress Post

 I do have a little more progress to share on Ann Grimshaw, which I've focused on almost exclusively since my last posting. Here she is:

 
Ann is only about half finished, and I've already gone through more than two skeins of the Finnegan's Fog. I do still have quite a bit of the darker dye lot on hand, but the lighter one is getting smaller and smaller.

Ann is coming along nicely and you say she is only about half finished. Wow, she must be a large sampler. It looks almost complete now.....

I like it so much better with the blended shades of blue, but my job is to reproduce the original. This is what historic needlework is all about: borrowing this, borrowing that, and ending up with your own unique masterpiece.
