Can I still call it The Tablet ?

I think probably not. It was the border that drew me to the sampler rather than the Tablet. I am using the pictorial section from The Shepherd and Shepherdess with some adjustments. There are three more sheep to add to the scene plus a bird or two and background for the grass and sky.

I will be adding either a cupid or a drawn thread section above the verse.

Apologies for the fuzzy photos, they were taken with my ipad then emailed to the main computer and I think that something has happened on route.

Well Autumn is officially here although our summer continues. It has been a glorious one. Now that the craziness of the summer holiday season is over I have more time for blogging and stitching so look out for some giveaways coming up very soon.

Gorgeous progress on your 'Tablet'! The personalization is quite amazing. What is the program you use for creating the wording? I love the scene you have chosen for the center.

Enjoy the cooler temps, I think we are all turning the corner into Autumn now :)

I used PC Pro Stitch. It wasn't expensive and seems relatively easy to use. I purchased it for the designing of the scenes for my Cabinet on the Cabinet of Curiosities course.

Nicola, this is just stunning. I love your floral border and the verse is so lovely. What a wonderful idea to combine the two patterns and make it your own personal design.

I now have to think about the Tablet Sampler. I also love the border, but not so sure about the tablet inside. Amazing what we can do, when we put our minds to it. Absolutely stunning.......
