Will the group continue after February 2014?

ABSOLUTELY YES !!!

But ..... It is not just Nicola's Scarlet Letter Year, I think the name should be changed possibly to Our Scarlet Letter Years (just a suggestion) we are after all a group stitching together.

I don't see why we cannot continue after February with some giveaways either. I am happy to donate a prize here and there and I am sure that others will too, maybe to mark their birthdays.

I am sure that we can get some prizes from companies too.

Marsha has been incredibly generous and there are lots more prizes to be won that Marsha, Ray and others have donated. Now that we are back focusing on stitching after the summer holidays look out for those giveaways and there are some really great monthly draw prizes.

Please leave comments with suggestions for the group name and ideas for going forward

Yes!! So glad we will continue the group. How about "The Stitchers of The Scarlett Letter"?

I have just checked, and it IS possible to change a blog's name!

The url will remain the same but as we called it scarletletteryear that won't matter.

I'm happy to keep going as long as people keep contributing.

And what about a retrospective of
the SL's completed before this challenge? I just happened upon this challenge nearing it's completion year and would love to join in come '14 and to see some
vintage SL pieces completed by the group in the past. Just a thought..

I would l love to see the SLY continue ... either under a new name or Scarlet Letter Year 2014 - 2015 etc.
The SLY blogs have been such a great source of friendship and inspiration and since my "to do" list is almost entirely SL charts you can count on my participation for the near future and beyond!

I really would love for the blog to continue - as I have been busy with work and RL stuffs of late, I've not been able to work on my Leo, Domus and Rosa since Feb! How pathetic! Sniff...I would hate not seeing everyone's finishes, and starts...it's all good, and I think we need to continue the good...Don't you?

Hugs and Love,
Jennifer H

Oh, my dear - the blog must continue! Before last December I've never heard of Scarlet Letter and now I have way too much stash,3 WIPs going and so many projects already kitted up and ready to go - I'm good for at least next 10 years even if I do not shop anymore.

Please, let's continue! I haven't even had time to write my own interview yet, nor have I had enough finishes to suit my obsessive compulsive personality! Nicola, let me know how I can become more active in 2014.

Yes, yes, yes....let's continue! This blog is simply amazing and adds so much to the stitching world! We now have 101 beautiful samplers bringing beauty and joy to their little corners of the world not to mention the joy they bring all of us who love watching all the progress and stitching right along side each other. Hooray :)

I would feel totally lost if we didn't all continue, it has been absolutely wonderful. So glad we all feel the same - here's to 2014 and beyond! x

Nicola, I'm so glad you think that the group can continue. It has indeed been very inspirational. I've no suggestions for a new name. The prize giving has been extremely generous but from my perspective doesn't need to be a focus going forward.

So happy to hear that the blog will not end with 2013! But is it really necessary to change the name? I think "Nicola's Scarlet Letter Year" is a perfect forever name!

Peace & Love, Fran

Count me in for a new year. I agree with Fran as to not changing the name Nicola's Scarlet Letter Year has such a ring to it and heck Nicola you can just continue to be 50 from here on out! As for prizes they are not nessary, but do provide some extra incentive. I would be happy to contribute again next year. I have enjoyed seeing everyones progress and know that if I had questions I could get some help from all of you wonderful stitchers!
Thanks for this year and looking forward to next.

I am so pleased that the blog is going to continue. I try and visit every day and it is inspirational to watch samplers come to life. I like the name as it is.

Hurray! I love the idea of this blog continuing. I have several SC samplers started but not finished, so the continuing inspiration would be wonderful.

I also would like to see our group continue. It has been so inspirational and the only site to see so many beautiful samplers in progress and completed. I have been able to complete a number of projects that I had and have so many on my wish list. To many more years of stitching, encouragement and friendships!
