The hornbook bestiary

As every month my progress are tiny, but as you can see the wing of the angel starts to appear.

I am convinced now that I would never finish the sampler before the end of the Nicola's red letter year. Please Nicola you must follow this blog after february 2014. (It's a formal request from lazy embroiderer)

bye bye

Keep plugging away at those wings. I stitched mine like you are doing yours, using the darkest thread as my guide. It's a smart way to do it. Looks great so far!

We all finish in due time. I also hope Nicola keeps this going. It seems like many love the post and the friendships made.

Yes, with this blog we met embroiderers from different countries and even if some do not speak English very well (like me)we understand through our hobby. Thank you Nicola for this great idea

Don't worry, there are a few more years until MY 50th Birthday and I know I'll won't finish my sampler before then!!
You are making beautiful progress.

It may take you a while to complete but it will be well worth it. Beautiful.
