M. Quertier finished

Hello, I have finished M. Quertier.  This is the fifth Ackworth  medallion type sampler that I have stitched.  I love the folk art look of them, plus I think they are very appropriate since this house was built by Quakers.  A couple of things are a few stitches off, but what the hey, right?    I splurged and stitched this with silk.  I'm till plugging away on Manifesto, but have no pictures to share right now.

Melinda, your sampler is just beautiful. I love Quaker samplers and this one is very striking stitched in black. Well done! I love history and knowing your home was built by Quakers is very interesting......this sampler belongs!

Well done Mel, monochrome samplers really jump out at you.

It seems so right that a Quaker sampler hangs in a home built by Quakers.

Beautiful sampler Melinda Didn't know you live in a house built by Quakers - how interesting. How old is your home?

Love it!! Great job.

I did this one a few years ago in a very dark purple. Truly enjoyed stitching it and enjoy looking at it every day.
