Rebecca Cullin

Thought that you might like to see where I'm up to with Rebecca.

I finished the fan carnation which was fun.

I'm currently working on the next section which is all satin stitch and then I have to do the berries again similar to what was done in the first section of this strip.  I'm hoping to finish Rebecca in the next few weeks. I only have to put the flowers and leaves underneath the bit that I'm working on and also do it again in the opposite side.

I must say that I have really enjoyed working on Rebecca and seeing how she has evolved into such a beautiful girl.

Samplerlover. What count of linen are you using? I don't see any holes!! Are you stitching it as if it were surface embroidery? It certainly is beautiful! One of my favorite things are birds, so I must stitch this soon...let's see I'm stitching as of right now, Grace Catlin, Elizabeth Simon, and getting ready to begin Manifesto! I think it will probably be a while! But it's still on my List of To stitch! I'm anxious to see your sampler when she's finished! Kay Lynn

Oh my, Sandra your Rebecca is absolutely beautiful! I have always loved her and your work inspires and encourages me to move her closer to the top of my "one day" list. However, I am still a novice with the free hand stem stitch so I must admit Miss Rebecca is a bit intimidating ;)
Cannot wait to see your finish!
