Wow!!!! You are making such quick progress. Love the colours.
Pretty flowers growing in your garden.
Really lovely, Holly! Julierose
Holly. I had forgotten you are stitching this on gauze over one! I hope you have eyes left when you are finished! I have always wanted to do a gauze piece, but I can't get up the nerve, for fear I will invest the money and not finish it. How tedious is it? Are you using any kind of magnification? It is certainly going to be a work of art! Keep up the beautiful work!
Holly, I forgot to say that I like what you did to red dress lady's face. I like her eyes and her nose certainly looks better! I will probably do some redesigning of the features when I stitch mine. When I stitched Sisters of the Heart CHS , I changed the faces on those two girls, cause I didn't like the way they were charted. I guess it's ok if we make changes, as long as we do it for ourselves!
Looking great Holly. Thanks to you now I want to stitch something on silk gauze.
I love it!!
Holly - your Manifesto is amazing and I look forward each week to your updates.
Silkstitcher...I only work on Manifesto on Sunday's. I think my eyes are holding up just fine! I use plenty of light and those cheater-reading glasses...1.75.It is not hard to work on silk gauze...you just have to have patience!-Holly
