First of all...

First of all, I'd like to say congratulations to all the winners of both blogs for the recent giveaways. Well done! :D

Secondly, I must confess I've not had a stitching moment since my last post of Feb 10th! <cue haunting mournful music> Time just flew - between work (and even now) more work, home life, etc. I've not had time nor energy to devote to my piece.

I am somewhat hopeful that things will get better this weekend. Right now I have 17 hours to catch up on for my Leo, Rosa, and Domus.

I did stitch some more on Leo on Feb 10th, after my post. I will have to show that very minute progress.

Hope everyone gets to get some more stitching in! Can you believe it's April??? It's been way too cold here for my liking. I feel like demanding a refund from the weather man! :P

Hugs and Love to all,
Jennifer H

What would you ladies suggest for a beginner in your type of cross stitch--I have done crewel work and stamped embroidery and needlepoint. I just love all your samplers, but have never done counted cross stitch before ..thanks Julierose

If you can do needlepoint and crewel work you can cross stitch. The Scarlet Letter website has some samplers that are suitable for beginners. If you have any problems there are lots of stitchers around to help.
