The Harriot Boardman Sampler is Finished!

Yay!

Here she is:

The Harriot Boardman Sampler
I actually finished her a few days ago, but have only just had a chance to post.

The grass got a bit wonky there in places and didn't exactly follow Harriot's curve, but I stuck to it as best I could.

This was a challenging, but very enjoyable sampler to stitch!

Very nice finish, Erica. I have this design on order. Did you use silks or cottons?

My motto is don't sweat the small stuff...like blades of grass!

On to another Scarlet Letter? Have a great weekend.

Erica, Your sampler is beautiful! Congratulations on a wonderful finish. I love the deer and grass and I applaud you for accomplishing that. I will have to try a sampler like that soon. Do you have another Scarlet Letter sampler in mind? Have a great weekend.

Erica, your sampler is just beautiful! I imagine it was quite challenging as dark linen is much harder to see. Great job!

Oh Erica this is simlply stunning.

I woud find the dark linen a struggle to stitch on but it really makes the colours pop. Well done to you for using it.

Now and again it is good to stretch oneself with a sampler and master another stitch.

Hang her with pride.

Congratulations on your finish, Erica--it's beautiful! And your freehand stitching is perfect!

Peace and Love,

(who hangs her head sheepishly because her own Harriot remains unfinished after many years)
