Another abc done.

Hello. It's been a while. I've been clearing out my closet but I have one of the inside alphabets done all the way around.

For those of you who have done this sampler, I have a questions....did you stitch the alphabet on the top then turn your piece, then stitch and turn your piece again, stitching it in a circle motion?

This looks like a fun sampler ... especially for us alphabet lovers! Looks great, Marlene!

Looks great, Marlene! Love all the colors. I have not stitched this one yet so others may have better comments or suggestions for your question, but I would think you would not turn in 1/4 around, as your x's would have the wrong leg on top and would not then be the same thru the piece, unless that is not a concern to you. You could turn it 1/2 way around and your stitches would be the same then.

I didn't turn. I had it on scroll bars.

I really like this project. it was quite fun to do (as I recall)

I love this one. I can see it being turn top to bottom to work but not side to side.

This seems like a fun little stitch. I agree with the others about not turning your work...at least not from side to side.

Have fun with your letters.

Your alphabets look great. I probably wouldn't turn it just in case I put some stitches in the wrong way.
