And the winners are .......

Another month has gone by since the last draw and what an exciting month it has been. During the month there have been around 275 posts and 1800 comments and we are now roughly 200 stitchers.

I was very busy last night printing out and cutting up names for the draw and giveaways and a guillotine is now being used to make it easier!!

The giveaways are open to all contributors to the year, it does not make any difference whether you post on blog 1 or 2, we are all one group.

My parents are visiting and I have put my dear Father to good use this morning drawing the names.

The names drawn this month are

THE MONTHLY PRIZE DRAW for March a chart and a full yard of linen of your choice from The Scarlet Letter sponsored by Ray.

The winner is JENNIFER from Menifee.

THE PICTURE THIS GIVEAWAY. The correct answer was Elizabeth Inman (Elizabeth Taylor and John Inman). I think it was too easy as I was inundated with correct answers.

The winner of the Elizabeth Inman chart sponsored by Marsha is ROBERT of A GENTLEMAN'S SAMPLINGS

I was interested in the number of birthdays in the months.

January - 3
February - 3
March - 3
April - 5
May - 4
June - 5
July - 2
August - 3
September - 6
October - 11
November 5
December 6

The latter part of the year, in particularly October are bumper months for cross stitchers.

CONGRATULATIONS to Jennifer, Robert and Bobbi and to every one participating. We are all winners, together we are accomplishing some amazing stitching and I know that my life is all the richer for sharing this time with you.

Please could the winners contact me with their postal addresses and Jennifer with her choice of chart and fabric.

Watch out for the giveaways, there are some fun ones scheduled and we are going to see how well you know your Scarlet Letter samplers.

Good morning, Everyone!

I am just waking up here in Ohio. I turned on my iPad to check email and I see one from JoAnn (Bethany's mother) offering up congratulations to me and saying that if I don't yet know why, I should check out the SL SAL blog!!

What a fun way to get me to hurry over here...only to see that I have won the drawing for the Buttercream linen. Thank you Nicola, yet again, for starting this special event...it's a birthday party full of the sharing of thoughts, stitching knowledge, beautiful photos, wonderful ideas, and, yes, presents!

Thanks for this special start to my Friday...and for inviting all of us to your birthday party!

Nicola your father looks like he was having a good time drawing the names with that big smile on his face. You resemble him quite a bit. Tell both your parents they sure raised a very special daughter who has brought alot of stitchers world wide together to share our passion.
