Here is my progress as of last night on Miss Emma.
Started 1/1/13
Fabric: 36 ct. Vintage Lentil
and a close up
another close up for color on border
I started out trying to get the border finished first thing, but got kinda bored just stitching on that. So after three sides being done I rewarded myself and started on the inside border. I'm loving stitching on her and how she's turning out.

Looks great, Kathy! Love the vintage fabric and the close up photos really show off the wonderful colors.
So, so pretty Kathy! I'm sure she will be a delight to stitch.
Great work, Kathy!
When I stitched the outside border, I did half cross stitches and went all the way around to make sure it met! After a little frogging, I was able to get my border to meet up:)
I will be posting a picture of my Emma after the weekend!
I am enjoying her a lot!
Keep up the beautiful work!

She's so pretty. And I like your fabric choice too!
Beautiful start, and a great fabric choice.
You're so fast! Very impressive.
The fabric color is wonderful, and your stitching looks beautiful on it. I love this design and will be adding it to my stash soon.

I love how the colors look against this fabric....truly a beautiful piece!
Thank you for sharing your progress. Beautiful!!!
When you fall in love with a sampler your needles fly.
Thanks everyone for the nice compliments! This is really a fun sampler to stitch. Other than the border that is. It's fun, too, but it's like the Good Year Bunny it just keeps going and going and going times three, lol.
Also, to anyone who is going to stitch this, PLEASE make sure you do alot of counting on it before stitching. Emma was probably a very sweet little girl, but her counting ability sure wasn't very good. Either that or she wasn't very particular about keeping things even. However, she's so much fun and such a cutie pie, I have forgiven her for that little fault. :)
Oh my,you are going very well. My poor Emma has been a UFO for a long time but now I have picked her up again and hope to have her finished this coming week. I love this sampler.
Your Emma is looking gorgeous. Like your fabric color too. :)
Kathy, such a pretty sampler! Thanks for the heads up on counting. I will remember that when I start it.
Great progress.
