Mary Ann Hutton Update

Scarlet Letter
Mary Ann Hutton

Here is my first update.  I started Mary Ann on New Year's Eve and I am pleased with the progress so far!  She is just as pretty as I thought when I picked her.

Despite taking my time on the website, I missed many of the samplers that I see on this blog! They are all a pleasure.

Such lovely stitching. As beautiful as the sampler you have chosen.

Hi, Teresa,
Great progress on a beautiful sampler. I am impressed that you stitched the vine all around and it met up!

A very nice start! I love this sampler too, I think I may need to do another order soon!

I just finished Mary Ann after putting it aside for several years. Got sidetracked with other projects. Now I'm back to finish the massive Margaret Logan sampler - love it!

It's amazing how photos of actual stitching make these samplers come to life.

After all the hours I have spent pouring over the SL paper catalog and website, I haven't "seen" a good many of the samplers being stitched here! Just one more reason this Scarlet Letter Year is such fun!

Oh this one is on my list. It is so pretty. I agree with others, now that samplers are actually being stitched I keep thinking 'how did I miss that one'. Maybe we need a challenge decade? Irene xxx
