I can resist everything but temptation

I thought that it was about time I shared with all of you what I have been stitching.

SDW Sampler

This is being worked as a SAL with Michele, Elaine, Krista, Shannon and Robyn and what fun we are having.

My other BAP The Blue Ribbon Sampler is nearly finished but I am finding it harder and harder not to put some stitches into Dona Dorothea.

Dona Dorothea Gazano y Garcia

Here she is all kitted up with AVAS and Lakeside Linens 36ct vintage meadow rue.

Will I resist? Probably but maybe not!

The name Dona Dorothea Gazano y Garcia sounds so romantic that I would want to stitch it just because of the name. I expect it won't be too long before she's done.

If the perfect moment comes along I say start it and enjoy the magic. For me that perfect moment would be when there are no pressing jobs to be done and a big block of time to devote to stitching.

Nicola, love the animals on SDW. You are really moving along on this one, and it's turning out so pretty.

I, for one, can't wait to see your completed Blue Ribbon Sampler. I just love that design!!! One of my all time favorites.

My Dona Dorothea is my UFO/WIP that I plan to start back on for my New Year's Day project. Except for the satin stitch ( everyone that knows me knows this is my least favorite stitch!) I have found this a lot of fun to work on. I know you'll love it too. I'm anxious to see yours progress with the silks. I've been doing Ming with dmc!
